Purepages Group Limited is a multi-award winning company created in 2000 to exploit the significant consulting skills and strengths of team members aggregated from very senior roles within some of the World’s major consulting firms. Further, on the World Wide Web front, we wished to bring to market ideas generated from the e-commerce and internet revolution of the mid-nineties. And with around 12 full and part time consultants and programmers, we believe that we have some of the brightest minds either side of the Atlantic.
Professional services marketing is one of the company’s major specialisms and within that zone of interest we look at two aspects with even greater zeal.
BRAND STRATEGY CONSULTANCY
Three members of the strategy team have been involved with many large, and some International strategy
projects. Mike Phillips, for example has worked with two multi nationals on marketing strategy, Coats Viyella, a major player in consumer textiles – work primarily based in Moscow and St Petersburg. Secondly he has also worked in New York advising a major Photographic group (now part of Manfrotto Spa) on Internet marketing strategies. Smaller projects have been carried out in outdoor leisure companies, US ski manufacture and shoe repair components.
One member of the team, John, is currently working on a major Government backed nature / eco-tourism project with Sefton Council regarding encouraging the red squirrel population and tourism of the Sefton Coast. Part of this project is the creation of Friends and ambassadors of this previously neglected NW England coastline strip. Our final member, Ian, has worked extensively in IT industries including ICL and has just finished a piece of work that involved the design, preparation and facilitation of strategy development for a major NHS Foundation Trust. Process included working with surgical, medical, nursing and operational staff to develop shared visions and plans bought-in to across organisation (2009).
INTEGRATED BRAND MARKETING (IBM)
IBM, also often called Integrated Marketing Communications is a simple concept that ensures that all forms of
communications and messages are carefully linked together, ‘sing from the same hymn sheet’ and follow the same strategic direction. At its most basic level, IBM similar means integrating all the promotional tools, so that they work together in harmony.
Although IBM can be complex to some, it delivers many benefits. It can create competitive advantage, boost sales and profits, while saving money, time and stress. IBM wraps communications around customers and helps them move through the various stages of the buying process. The organisation simultaneously consolidates its image, develops a dialogue and nurtures its relationship with customers.
IBM saves money as it eliminates duplication in areas such as graphics and photography since they can be shared and used in advertising, exhibitions and sales literature. Agency fees are reduced by using a single agency for all communications and even if there are several agencies, time is saved when meetings bring all the agencies together – for example, briefings, creative sessions, tactical or strategic planning. This integration reduces workload and subsequent stress levels!
